With two new product launches – Cacao Origins chocolate thins & Chocolate Caramels – La Folie intended to bring a new energy into the brand post-pandemic, double-down on it’s commitment to making all natural, small-batch chocolate with the finest origin cacao, and make customers care about and enjoy artisanal craft chocolate.
Custom packaging forms were developed to complement the signature forms of the chocolates themselves, reduce excess tertiary packaging, and make unboxing feel ceremonial albeit retail-friendly. A fun typography-led visual language and an earthy, yet energetic, extension to the colour palette not only gave the brand a more confident tone, but also infused it with warmth. The new visual language was also extended across gift boxes for their snacking collection.
